What we build
Four kinds of work. Done properly.
Fences, decks, handyman and smart-home installs, and HOA work — written so a neighbor or a property manager can tell which door to knock on.

Fences
New cedar fences and repairs. Privacy runs, corner lots, failing sections, and gates that actually latch.

Decks
New decks and deck repairs. Framing, decking, and railings — built for the wet side of the mountains.

Handyman
TV mounts, furniture, doors, light paint, light plumbing and electrical — plus smart doorbells, cameras, and thermostats.

HOA work

How it goes
No portal. No five-person sales team. A site visit and a number.
01
Tell us the job
Call or send the estimate form. A photo of the fence, deck, common area, or the handyman job is enough to start. Include the address so we know the drive.
02
We come look
Most jobs need a site visit. We measure, check posts, grade, and access, and talk through material and layout on the ground — not over a vague phone quote.
03
A written estimate
You get a clear scope: what comes out, what goes in, and what it costs. No mystery allowances. If the job isn’t a fit, we’ll say so.
04
Build and leave it clean
We schedule the work, show up, and build it. Old material gets hauled. You should be able to use the yard when we leave.

About
Solo, family-owned, and still answering the phone.
Walker Construction Group started in 2017 as a one-person general contractor in Yelm. About ten years of fence, deck, handyman, and HOA playground and common-area work. The owner is Chris Walker. The registration is WALKECG821RJ.
That’s the whole pitch. We don’t outsource the estimate, and we don’t pretend to be a thirty-crew company.

Questions
Before you call.
Straight answers. If something isn’t listed, the estimate form is the fastest way to ask.
How far from Yelm do you go?
About fifty miles. That covers a lot of Thurston and Pierce County — Rainier, Roy, Lacey, Olympia, Spanaway, Graham, Eatonville, and similar. If you’re farther, still ask. Sometimes the job is worth the drive.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Washington contractor registration WALKECG821RJ. You can look it up on L&I’s Verify a Contractor site.
Do you only do new work, or repairs too?
Both. New cedar fences and decks, repairs, and smaller handyman and smart-home installs. Failing sections, rotten posts, bad gates, deck boards, railings — and the odds and ends around the house.
What does an estimate cost?
The estimate is free. We need the address, a description, and usually a site visit before a number is honest.
Do you bid HOA and property-manager work?
Yes. Playgrounds, common-area fencing, and the odd jobs associations need done by a licensed contractor. Send the scope or a walk-through time. We can work from a manager’s punch list.
How long does a typical fence take?
Depends on length, corners, gates, and whether old fence is coming out. A straightforward residential run is often days, not weeks. We’ll put a schedule on the estimate so you’re not guessing.
Next step
Send the address. We’ll tell you if we can do it.
